Effect of Strategic Management on Organizational Resilience in Selected Banking Firms, Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria
Abstract
A cross-sectional survey on the effect of strategic management on organizational resilience will examine how proactive risk management, environmental scanning, and strategic agility enhance organizational resilience in selected banking firms in Calabar. A Dynamic Capability Theory will be adopted to explain how it focuses on the firm’s ability to integrate, build, and reconfigure internal/external competences to address rapidly changing environments, directly fostering resilience. The study population will be selected banks, and a Taro Yamane sampling formula will be used to determine the study's sample size. A structured questionnaire will be used to facilitate data collection. Content and face validity, along with Cronbach's alpha, will be used to assess the reliability of the data. Descriptive statistics and multicollinearity, using the variance inflation factor (VIF), will be used to assess the accuracy of the data set. The hypotheses will be tested using Multiple Regression Analysis. Findings and recommendations will be established after analysis.
